Rigging means to create digital skeletons for 3D computer generated characters. It is the process of moving the characters in any way you’d like. For example how a person’s face, eyes, ears, tongue, arms, legs & mouth move, how a big animal runs or how the creatures can sing. Rigging is an important step in the 3D animation process. The work of the riggers is to create rigs for anything that moves in an animation.
